Wayward sisters is a classical music ensemble specializing in music from the 17th and 18th centuries on period style instruments.

While no longer an active ensemble, Wayward Sisters performed widely from 2009-2018, garnering acclaim for their "polished and spirited playing" (Chicago Classical Review) and "distinctive freshness" (Early Music Review).

In 2011 Wayward sisters won the Early Music America/Naxos competition, awarding them the opportunity to record their first album (Locke: the Broken Consort, pt.1 and Tripla Concordia) on the Naxos label. Their second recording, a Restless Heart, was self released in 2018.

The group's members are Beth Wenstrom (violin), Anne Timberlake (recorders), Anna Steinholf (cello, viola da gamba), and John Lenti (theorbo, guitar).
